This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response to a casualty
in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other
Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an advanced first aid response in a range of
situations, including community and workplace settings.

- UETDRMP007 Perform rescue from live low voltage panel

1-2 hours online theory & 2 hour face to face
assessment
Prerequisite entry requirements
• UEECD0007 Apply work
health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
or
• UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
All participants require English language literacy to understand content and complete written and practical
examinations. Due to the physical nature of the unit of competency, learners must have the physical capacity
to be able to rescue/ drag another human to safety and as CPR is a prerequisite the learner must be able to
also complete 2 minutes of continuous CPR positioned on the floor.
Recertification requirements
It is recommended this unit be renewed every 12
months in line with the Code of Practice standards.

Participants are required to attend 100% of this
training and take part in all assessments.
